Abuse

I just finished reading yet another Danielle Steel book. I have four more to read before I'm done w/what I have in the house of hers.
The book I just finished entitled "The Journey" was on the subject of abuse. I can be very subtle to very obvious. But it is amazing how the victim usually is so ashamed that he/she feels they deserve it. I'm not eloquent enough to explain anything. It was a great read & a great love story to boot. I have to admit, I think I have been the abuser sometimes. Feeling if things left my control I would completely unravel. Instead I unraveled in spite of it.
On that note, I still have not heard from the counselor as to when counseling may start. We've just had our initial visit. I'm anxious in both bad & good ways. Just be in prayer that we will follow God's will on the matter & especially that this is God's will.
